NAMED AFTER THE NOTORIOUS BUNCH OF BLAGGARDS THE BRITISH GOVERNMENT SENT INTO IRELAND TO STOP THE IRISH FROM TRYING TO END OVER 700 YEARS OF OCCUPATION. THE TANS SONGS ARE ANTI IMPERIALISM, ANTI RACISM ETC. NO COUNTRY HAS A RIGHT TO COLONISE ANOTHER.
In 2007, the initial idea of this project were thought up by Rich Lard & Ardcore Andy who had agreed to help Rich out with recording the songs that Rich had written. But after several rehearsals, Andy had realized he was too busy to continue the band, so Rich searched on for other musicians to rehearse and record the songs with.
